Details of the Job/Internship
Milacron is hiring a Legal Counsel & Company Secretary to join their office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act and relevant statutes.
- Maintain statutory registers and corporate records.
- File statutory returns and resolutions with authorities.
- Draft and vet various agreements including know-how, JV, confidentiality, and licensing agreements.
- Handle trademark filings and oppositions.
- Provide in-house legal counsel excluding tax matters.
- Support in documentation for credit sales and project implementation.
- Liaise with government and regulatory bodies.
- Manage legal proceedings including civil and criminal litigation.
- Oversee land, leasehold, and insurance matters.
- Handle FEMA compliance.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Law.
- Company Secretary certification.
