Details of the Job/Internship
Moove is hiring a Legal Counsel & Company Secretary to manage legal affairs and ensure corporate governance compliance to work at their Delhi location.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements under the Companies Act and other corporate laws.
- Manage statutory registers, records, and corporate filings with regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate and prepare for Board and Committee meetings, including drafting agendas and minutes.
- Provide legal advice on corporate governance and fiduciary duties.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including loan, lease, vendor, and partnership agreements.
- Monitor legal and regulatory changes affecting the company.
- Manage litigation and external counsel relationships.
- Develop legal policies to mitigate risks and conduct due diligence for projects and acquisitions.
Eligibility
- Membership with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university.
- 5-10 years post-qualification experience in financial services, automotive finance, or mobility sectors.
- Strong corporate law, contract, compliance, and litigation management skills.
