AbbVie is hiring a Legal Counsel with 10+ years of post-qualification experience to support its pharmaceutical operations in India and the India region.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal guidance for business operations in India and the region.
• Participate in management decisions and business planning.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Address legal, regulatory, and compliance issues with thorough analysis.
• Manage litigation and resolve disputes.
• Develop legal templates, training programs, and processes.
• Support regional and cross-border legal projects.

Eligibility

• Law degree from a reputed university.
• Minimum 10 years of legal experience, including law firm and in-house roles.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
• Understanding of antitrust, anti-bribery, data protection, and IP laws is a plus.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• High ethical standards and leadership mindset.
