Details of the Job/Internship
Check Point is hiring a Legal Counsel with at least 5 years of experience to support its extensive APAC operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end contracting cycle for sales, procurement, and high-value commercial agreements.
- Negotiate complex, customer-specific contracts directly with global distributors, partners, and vendors.
- Provide actionable legal advice to APAC business leaders on operations, product matters, and corporate governance.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks in a fast-paced environment while balancing commercial objectives.
- Support HR and dispute resolution matters across diverse regional jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure regional agreements align with international corporate standards.
Eligibility
- Qualified and licensed lawyer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Deep familiarity with contract terms for software-as-a-service (SaaS) and product sales.
- Proven track record in complex contract drafting and direct negotiation.
- Preferred: Prior experience advising technology or cybersecurity companies.
- Preferred: Exposure to multiple APAC jurisdictions (e.g., ANZ, Greater China, SE Asia, Japan, or Korea).
- Native or professional-level proficiency in English (written and verbal).
