Details of the Job/Internship
Novo Nordisk is hiring a Legal Counsel with expertise in legal compliance and risk mitigation to join their Global Business Services (GBS) unit in Bengaluru, India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on risk management and compliance to ensure smooth business operations.
- Advise on employment laws including Industrial Disputes Act and POSH compliance.
- Manage negotiation and documentation of contracts and agreements adhering to business ethics and legal policies.
- Facilitate business ethics compliance programs and awareness initiatives.
- Oversee litigation management by coordinating with external counsels and ensuring proper documentation.
- Support investigations and audit readiness related to legal and compliance matters.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized university.
- Practical experience in company and labour laws, contract management, regulatory compliance, litigations, and advisories.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
