Details of the Job/Internship

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring a Legal Counsel with 10–15 years of experience to join their team in either Mumbai or Kolkata.

Role and Responsibilities

Lead the review and negotiation of all types of Information Technology-related contracts.
Manage complex transactions involving Outsourcing, IT/ITES, and Technology Licensing.
Act as a primary legal advisor for business teams, providing proactive risk assessments.
Ensure contract terms align with corporate governance and risk appetite.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive timely closure of negotiations.
Handle sensitive legal matters independently while maintaining high standards of quality.

Eligibility

Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB).
10–15 years of relevant professional experience.
Proven track record in General Legal Counsel roles and Contract Negotiation.
In-depth knowledge of Information Technology contracts and legal procedures.
