Details of the Job/Internship
Infosys is hiring a Legal Counsel (APAC Employment Laws) with 3–5 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare memos on complex regulatory issues.
- Liaise with external counsel to support global compliance.
- Review and finalize employment policies and employment contracts.
- Negotiate with clients and partners to resolve contractual deadlocks.
- Advise stakeholders on employment transfer, termination, social security, and employee benefits.
- Prepare and approve responses for courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities.
- Execute litigation strategies and coordinate external litigation matters.
- Liaise with insurers to manage contentious matters.
- Contribute research papers to the legal knowledge repository.
- Provide training on employment law issues.
Eligibility
- Fully qualified lawyer with 3–5 years PQE.
- Employment law experience preferred but not mandatory.
