Details of the Job/Internship
audax is hiring a Legal Counsel with 3–6 years of PQE to join its legal team in a remote role.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist with general meetings and coordinate regular board meetings, including preparing agendas, papers, minutes and resolutions.
- Handle end-to-end company secretarial duties, including statutory filings, HQ reporting requirements and compliance with corporate governance policies.
- Review and negotiate agreements such as NDAs, supply agreements and commercial contracts, with a focus on tech inbound procurement agreements.
- Provide legal advice on commercial matters, including financial services outsourcing and intellectual property.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop appropriate contractual solutions.
- Analyse legal and business risks related to commercial agreements and provide practical recommendations to mitigate risks.
- Draft and review contractual documents with accuracy and attention to etail.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry trends and best practices in commercial law and corporate governance.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer with 3–6 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in commercial law and company secretarial duties, preferably in an in-house role.
- Strong understanding of tech inbound procurement agreements and commercial contracts such as MSA, MTA and SOWs.
- Knowledge of financial services outsourcing rules is desirable.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
