Details of the Job/Internship

Mercor is hiring a Legal Content Developer for a part-time, project-based role.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft structured legal content on special needs trusts, guardianship, and disability benefits.
• Ensure accuracy relating to ABLE accounts, Medicaid eligibility, and SSI processes.
• Translate complex legal frameworks into clear and standardized documentation.
• Verify legal explanations using authoritative public sources.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the project manager to maintain content quality.

Eligibility

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a practicing attorney, legal scholar, or advanced paralegal.
• Strong expertise in special needs law, guardianship, and trust structures.
• Working knowledge of Medicaid workflows and SSI requirements.
• Excellent ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.
• High attention to detail and deadline adherence.
