Details of the Job/Internship
Revolut is hiring a Legal Counsel (Banking) with 5+ years of PQE to provide independent banking advisory support and prudential expertise for its payments and e-money operations. This is a remote role. The position includes offering legal and regulatory guidance on new features, ensuring risk management, and supporting secure and compliant growth.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise on legal and regulatory issues related to banking and group products.
- Manage communications with the PRA and FCA.
- Manage regulatory filings and registration processes.
- Identify, assess, monitor, manage, and report on compliance risks.
- Liaise with external counsel and coordinate advice for senior management.
- Lead legal projects and handle complex matters within short timelines.
Eligibility
- 5+ years of PQE.
- Excellent academic background and law firm credentials.
- Expertise in financial regulations, including CRD, CASS, FSMA, PSD II, and FCA/PRA Handbooks.
- Strong judgement, composure under pressure, and collaborative mindset.
- Ability to make decisions amid ambiguity.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in consumer credit is an added advantage.
