Volante Technologies is hiring a Legal Counsel - Commercial and Corporate with 3 years of experience to join their office in Pune. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including technology licensing contracts, vendor agreements, and customer Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Provide corporate legal support, including company secretarial responsibilities and governance documentation.
• Assist in the development and continuous improvement of legal templates, internal policies, and compliance processes.
• Manage and maintain the Legal Department’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.
• Support cross-functional teams (sales, finance, procurement, compliance) with practical and solution-oriented legal advice.
• Stay current on legal and regulatory developments, particularly in technology, data protection, and cross-border transactions.

Eligibility

• Legal Qualifications: Dual-qualified in India and the United States.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts—especially technology-focused agreements and SOWs under U.S. law.
• Domain Expertise: Prior experience working in or advising software or fintech companies is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations, including the Indian Data Protection Bill, IT Act, and international privacy frameworks.
• Strong business acumen and ability to balance legal risk with commercial priorities.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate across time zones and multicultural teams.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and responsive, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
