Details of the Job/Internship

Infosys is hiring a Senior Associate Legal Counsel/Legal Counsel with 3–12 years of experience to join their teams across Bangalore, Pune, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Thiruvananthapuram.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and review complex commercial IT contracts, including outsourcing, service, alliance, subcontracting, and licence agreements.
• Review proposals and requests for proposals and assist in preparing responses.
• Participate in negotiations with customers and vendors across regions while ensuring policy compliance and risk mitigation.
• Analyse legal and commercial risks and present recommendations to business teams and senior management.
• Act as an interface between local offices and global headquarters.
• Provide legal advisory support and coordinate with the global legal team on corporate compliance.
• Track relevant laws and regulations affecting the business and internal policies.
• Share knowledge on local laws and business trends within the global legal community.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or equivalent legal qualification.
• LL.M. is preferred.
• 3–12 years of experience in handling high-value, complex transactions.
• Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and writing skills.
• Strong domain expertise in IT industry contracting and related verticals.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams under pressure.
• Willingness to travel within continental Europe at short notice.
• Basic knowledge of litigation is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in contract drafting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in legal contract negotiation.

Salary/Stipend
