Details of the Job/Internship

Saudia Group is hiring a Legal Counsel – Corporate Litigations with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join its office in Jeddah. The role involves providing expert legal services in complex matters, handling corporate legal problems, and representing the corporation in litigation and regulatory matters.

Role and Responsibilities

• Follow relevant policies, processes, and procedures to ensure controlled and consistent work.
• Implement day-to-day legal operations in compliance with standards.
• Provide and interpret legal information, conduct training, and disseminate requirements across departments.
• Prepare, review, and manage legal issues and lawsuits, attend hearings, and draft reports.
• Represent the corporation in court or before government agencies and present evidence as required.
• Draft, review, and vet government and commercial contracts and agreements, ensuring accurate records.
• Advise business sectors on legal considerations to support decision-making.
• Review and develop agreements and internal policies for compliance with statutory requirements.
• Provide legal protection and risk management advice, particularly on contract management.
• Advise on corporate matters including major business transactions.
• Liaise with internal departments and SBUs on operational and technical issues.
• Monitor regulatory and legal compliance across the corporation and SBUs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental management policies and controls.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in a relevant function.
• Advanced English language proficiency.

Salary/Stipend
