Reliance Infrastructure is hiring for the position of Legal Counsel – Corporate M&A with 3-6 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise on M&A transactions, private equity/venture capital investments, joint ventures, and shareholder arrangements (cross-border and domestic).
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documents including shareholders’ agreements, share purchase agreements, investment agreements, and joint venture agreements.
- Provide counsel on corporate governance, restructuring, fund raises, and compliance matters.
- Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence and prepare investment reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless deal execution.
- Track and interpret regulatory developments in M&A, PE/VC, capital markets, and allied areas.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a National Law University or other reputed institution.
- 3–6 years of experience at a Tier 1/Tier 2 law firm in corporate/M&A practice.
- Strong background in transactional and advisory (non-litigation) corporate law.
- Proven expertise in drafting, negotiation, and deal structuring.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and client management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple priorities.
