Details of the Job/Internship

Infosys is hiring a Legal Counsel-Employment Laws with experience of 4 to 8 years to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare memos on complex regulatory issues;
• Liaise with external counsel as required, to enable the Company to adhere to regulatory compliances;
• Review and finalize employment policies and contracts;
• Negotiate with clients and partners to resolve contractual deadlocks;
• Provide advice to the Company to resolve issues, particularly in the areas of transfer of employment, termination of employment, social security contributions, employee benefits;
• Prepare and approve responses on behalf of the Company before submission to courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities;
• Execute litigation strategy;
• Coordinate litigation and other legal matters handled by external counsel;
• Contribute research papers to the knowledge repository to enhance the knowledge base of the Legal Department;
• Provide training on employment law issues to the Company.

Eligibility

• Lawyer with 4 – 8 years experience in Employment Law.

Salary/Stipend
