Details of the Job/Internship

Swiggy is hiring for the position of Legal Counsel I - General Corporate with 2+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, Supply Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, IP-related documents, and vendor contracts.
• Handle agreements related to advertising, licensing, endorsements, marketing, sponsorships, and other business partnerships.
• Partner with project teams on new business initiatives to ensure legal due diligence, risk mitigation, and contract compliance.
• Conduct legal research and prepare preliminary internal opinions on relevant regulatory issues.
• Review marketing materials, advertisements (including social and print media) to ensure compliance with applicable legal standards.
• Draft and review policies, terms and conditions, and customer-facing legal documents to support business functions.

Eligibility

• Minimum 2 years of experience in transactional legal work, preferably in a top-tier law firm and/or as in-house counsel in a high-growth or multinational company.
• Strong expertise in contract law, legal drafting, and negotiation.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to assess business risks.
• Strong business acumen and sound legal judgment.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively across various teams and management levels.
• A proactive mindset with the willingness to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion with minimal supervision.
