Details of the Job/Internship

Swiggy is hiring a Legal Counsel, I-Compliance to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Facilitate the acquisition of compliance certificates and registrations.
• Audit and implement compliance policies.
• Support legal and business stakeholders on various compliance issues and transactions, including potential conflicts of interest, high-risk payments, appropriate segregation of duties, and audit and report compliance with statutory compliance matters.
• Organize and deliver compliance training and communications to promote integrity and a compliance culture.
• Be a key contributor to the development and implementation of new compliance policies.
• Coordinate closely with internal auditors to address significant matters.

Eligibility

• Proven work experience post LLB in compliance functions, including audit, risk assessment, and mitigation.
• Demonstrated maturity, judgment, and expertise in addressing compliance-related issues and dealing with internal and external clients.
• Ability to work across diverse and cross-functional teams.
• Well-versed in applicable laws, with a strong understanding of food laws, food industry laws, logistics, e-commerce laws and compliance, internet and technology-related laws, and laws related to software as a service.
• Professional qualifications: A Bachelor of Laws is mandatory. Diplomas in compliance-related courses are an added advantage.
