Details of the Job/Internship

Swiggy is hiring a Legal Counsel I – General Corporate to join its legal team in Bengaluru. The role involves supporting commercial transactions, business initiatives, regulatory research, and ensuring legal compliance across contracts, marketing, and internal policies.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, including NDAs, supply agreements, MSAs, SOWs, IPR documents, and vendor contracts.
• Handling licensing, advertising, endorsement, marketing, sponsorship agreements, and related documentation.
• Supporting new business initiatives and ensuring legal evaluation and contractual compliance.
• Conducting legal research on applicable regulatory laws and preparing preliminary internal opinions.
• Reviewing print, digital, and social media advertisements for legal compliance.
• Assisting in drafting and reviewing internal policies, terms and conditions, and documents relating to offers and services.

Eligibility

• Experience in transactional drafting, negotiation, and advisory work in commercial matters.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts and contract analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to assess business processes and risks.
• Strong legal and business judgment.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage quick turnaround requirements.
