Details of the Job/Internship

Swiggy is hiring a Legal Associate with experience in commercial and transactional matters to join their Bangalore office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, non-disclosure agreements, supply agreements, master service agreements, statements of work, IPR-related documents, and other legal documents.
• Handle service agreements, licensing agreements, vendor contracts, advertising, endorsement, marketing, sponsorship agreements, and NDAs.
• Support new business initiatives and project teams by providing legal evaluation and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Research applicable regulatory laws and prepare in-house preliminary legal opinions.
• Review print, social media, and other media advertisements and marketing communications for legal compliance.
• Provide guidance on drafting and reviewing policies and terms and conditions related to offers, business operations, and services.

Eligibility

• Transactional drafting, negotiation, and advisory experience in commercial transactions at a leading law firm or multinational corporation.
• Strong contract analysis skills and working knowledge of commercial contract provisions.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to assess business processes and identify legal risks.
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with teams and management.
• Strong legal and business judgment.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to take up new projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and meet quick turnaround requirements.

Salary/Stipend
