Swiggy is hiring a Legal Counsel – Commercial Contracts for a full-time office role in Bangalore. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting new business initiatives through legal evaluation and advisory.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, NDAs, supply agreements, master service agreements, statements of work, IP-related documents, and other legal documents.
• Focus on service agreements, licensing agreements, vendor contracts, marketing, advertising, endorsement, sponsorship agreements, and NDAs.
• Support new business initiatives and projects by ensuring timely legal evaluation and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Conduct legal research and prepare preliminary in-house opinions on applicable laws.
• Review print, social media, and other marketing communications for legal compliance.
• Provide guidance on drafting and reviewing policies, terms, and conditions relating to offers, business operations, and services.

Eligibility

• Experience in transactional drafting, negotiation, and advisory in commercial contracts at a leading law firm or in-house at an MNC.
• Strong contract analysis skills and working knowledge of commercial contract provisions.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to assess business processes.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively with different levels of management, and take ownership of projects.
• Strong legal and business judgment.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround requirements.

Salary/Stipend
