Details of the Job/Internship
Worley is hiring a Legal Counsel – Technology Contracts with at least 5 years of experience to support its digital consulting operations in Mumbai India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate technology contracts (SaaS, PaaS, software development, distribution, IP).
- Advise on legal issues in multi-jurisdictional tech transactions.
- Ensure compliance with Australian and US laws, and internal governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with project teams on risk management and contract lifecycle.
- Monitor legal developments in international markets.
- Maintain alignment with Worley’s corporate values and safety culture.
Eligibility
- LLB (mandatory); LLM or international legal qualifications preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of PQE in technology and commercial law.
- Experience with cross-border transactions in the energy, engineering, or renewable sectors.
- Familiarity with Australian and US laws, including software licensing and SaaS contracts.
- Strong legal drafting, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently in a remote setup.
