Medtronic is hiring a Legal Counsel with 9–12 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai, India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel to internal business stakeholders on rights, obligations, and corporate privileges.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts involving real estate, employment, advertising, insurance, R&D, and other commercial matters.
- Stay current with legislative developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends.
- Assess legal risks and advise on anti-trust and compliance issues.
- Act as the company’s legal representative in various transactions.
- Handle litigation, arbitration, and corporate governance matters.
- Oversee legal projects, manage processes, and train lower-level professionals as needed.
- Develop and implement efficient legal and contractual processes.
- Coordinate with external counsel when required.
Eligibility
- LLB qualification.
- 9–12 years of relevant legal experience.
- Admission to practice law.
- Experience in handling complex legal matters independently.
- Strong legal and business acumen.
