Details of the Job/Internship
Swiggy is hiring a Legal Counsel II (General Corporate) with relevant experience in commercial drafting and legal advisory to join their Bangalore office on a hybrid working model.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, NDAs, supply agreements, MSAs, SOWs, and IPR-related documents.
- Focus on service agreements, licensing agreements, vendor contracts, marketing and advertising agreements, sponsorships, and endorsements.
- Support new business initiatives and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Conduct research on regulatory laws and prepare preliminary legal opinions.
- Review print, social media, and other marketing communications for legal compliance.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing internal policies and terms and conditions.
Eligibility
- Experience in transactional drafting, negotiation, and commercial advisory.
- Strong skills in contract analysis and understanding of legal provisions.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively across teams.
- Strong legal judgment and interpersonal communication skills.
- Capability to handle projects independently and manage quick turnaround work.
