Details of the Job/Internship
Swiggy is hiring a Legal Counsel II (General Corporate) with experience of 5+ years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, nondisclosure agreements, supply agreements, master service agreements, statements of work, IPR-related documents, and other legal documents.
- Focus on service agreements, licensing agreements, vendor contracts, advertising, endorsement, marketing agreements, sponsorship agreements, and NDAs.
- Support new business initiatives and project work with project teams to ensure legal evaluation and timely compliance.
- Research applicable regulatory laws and prepare in-house preliminary opinions.
- Review print, social media, and other media advertisements and marketing communications to ensure legal compliance.
- Draft and review policies and terms and conditions related to offers, business, and services.
Eligibility
- Transactional drafting, negotiation, and advisory experience on different commercial transactions gained at a leading law firm and/or in-house at a multinational corporation.
- Skilled in contract analysis and working knowledge of the fundamental legal provisions of commercial contracts.
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to analyze and assess business processes, spot issues, and propose solutions.
- Ability to function autonomously while communicating effectively within the team.
- Strong legal and business judgment.
- Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to take up new projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively while meeting quick turn-around requirements.
