Details of the Job/Internship

Swiggy is hiring a Legal Counsel II – Gen Corp with 5+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. This is a full-time office role in hybrid mode.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, nondisclosure agreements, supply agreements, master service agreements, statements of work, IPR-related documents, and other legal documents.
• Handle service agreements, licensing agreements, vendor contracts, advertising, endorsement, marketing agreements, sponsorship agreements, and NDAs.
• Support new business initiatives and project work by ensuring legal evaluation and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Research applicable regulatory laws and prepare in-house preliminary opinions.
• Review advertisements and marketing communications across print, social media, and other platforms to ensure legal compliance.
• Guide and assist in drafting and reviewing policies, terms, and conditions relating to offers, business, and services.

Eligibility

• 5+ years of experience.
• Transactional drafting, negotiation, and advisory experience on commercial transactions gained at a leading law firm and/or in-house at a multinational corporation.
• Skilled in contract analysis with knowledge of fundamental legal provisions of commercial contracts.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and solution-oriented approach.
• Strong legal and business judgment.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage workload effectively, and meet quick turn-around requirements.
• Willingness to take responsibility and work independently with minimal supervision.
