Details of the Job/Internship

HERE Technologies is hiring a Legal Counsel II with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join their APAC Legal Team in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Review, draft, redline, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements including SaaS/PaaS licensing, MSAs, SOWs, RFP/tender responses, and data acquisition agreements.
• Provide end-to-end support for negotiations and execution of contracts.
• Advise senior management and cross-functional teams on operations, legal risks, and compliance in India.
• Conduct legal reviews of product offerings and initiatives, liaise with regulators, and support regional/global projects.
• Develop training materials and conduct legal and compliance workshops.

Eligibility

• LLB/LLM or equivalent qualification with strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a top-tier law firm or in-house role with a technology company.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
• Experience in corporate, commercial, IP licensing, privacy, and regulatory matters.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and collaborate cross-functionally.
