Details of the Job/Internship

Swiggy is looking for a candidate for the position of Legal Counsel with 4 years of experience.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assisting with fundraising, M&A; and other corporate transactions are undertaken by the company
• Conducting legal research to assist with deal structuring
• Drafting, reviewing, assisting with the execution of share subscription agreements, share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, and other relevant transaction documents.
• Undertaking basic due diligence.
• Coordinating with external firms on various assignments.
• Advising internal stakeholders on various questions around corporate structure and process of the Company.

Eligibility

• LLB from a reputed law university.
• Must have Experience in general corporate and commercial advisory research and contract review pertaining to day to day business operations as well. 
• At least 4 years prior experience in M&A.
• Must have (i) worked on VC and M&A; transactions, including conducting due diligence, drafting and reviewing transaction documents, and assisting with closing transactions, and (ii) have a good understanding of the provisions of the Companies. Act and FEMA & the FDI policy.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
