Details of the Job/Internship
UPL Limited is hiring a Legal Counsel with 8 to 10 years of experience to join their team in Navi Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise on litigation strategy and next steps in case of disputes or legal proceedings.
- Draft, review, and manage various legal documents including NDAs, MOUs, licensing agreements, service agreements, lease deeds, and supply agreements.
- Represent the company in legal hearings and coordinate with external counsels.
- Brief internal teams on case status and attend meetings with regulatory bodies and police officials.
- Conduct legal research and risk assessments.
- Offer legal advice and propose mitigation strategies to internal teams.
- Engage in negotiation and discussion with internal and external stakeholders for contract-related matters.
Eligibility
- LL.B./LL.M. from a reputed institute.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience, predominantly in litigation.
- Willingness to handle non-litigation work such as commercial contracts is preferred.
