WSP is hiring a Legal Counsel with 5+ years of experience in construction law to provide operational and legal support for its global engineering projects.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate construction industry contracts and associated documents.
• Provide clear feedback on contract risks and conduct follow-up discussions with colleagues.
• Proactively manage and lead contract negotiations.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal teams, clients, and external legal counsel.
• Maintain awareness of legislative and regulatory environments relevant to WSP operations.
• Apply independent judgment while balancing commercial and legal considerations.

Eligibility

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years of legal experience in construction law.
• Experience in reputable law firms or in-house legal teams specializing in construction.
• Proficient in English (written and oral).
• Skilled in negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Strong communication skills and high ethical standards.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Exposure to United Kingdom clients is desirable.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
