WSP India is hiring a Legal Counsel with 5+ years of experience in the construction industry to join their legal division.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate a full range of construction industry contracts and related documents.
• Provide clear, concise feedback on contractual risks and conduct follow-up discussions as required.
• Proactively manage and lead contract negotiations.
• Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with internal teams, clients, and external legal counsel.
• Maintain awareness of the legislative and regulatory environment relevant to the company’s operations.

Eligibility

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal team specializing in construction law.
• Proficient in English (oral and written).
• Experienced in negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Strong communication skills and high ethical standards.
• Ability to balance commercial and operational imperatives with legal risk.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Exposure to working with United Kingdom clients is desirable.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
