Details of the Job/Internship
Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) is hiring a Manager – Legal Counsel with 6–8 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Negotiate and manage EPC contracts for renewable projects (wind/solar).
- Handle project financing and development legalities.
- Draft and review general commercial contracts, including power purchase and lease agreements.
- Coordinate litigation management with external counsel.
- Oversee legal matters related to corporate governance, insurance, and policy compliance in India.
- Draft, review, and finalize sourcing and O&M agreements.
- Support JV management and shareholder agreements.
- Review financing documents and liaise with counsel on legal opinions.
- Assist with regulatory, permitting, and real estate matters through local counsel.
- Handle operational legal issues including NDAs, engagement letters, and HR/admin matters.
Eligibility
- 6–8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in infrastructure or renewable energy sectors.
- Prior work experience in a top-tier law firm.
- Strong communication and contract drafting skills.
- Experience with transactional and commercial legal work.
- LLB or higher from a reputed law school, qualified to practice in India.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
