Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited is a banking company licensed under Section 22 (1) of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 to carry on small finance bank business. It is also a subsidiary of Ujjivan Financial Services Ltd. The bank has commenced its operations with effect from February 1, 2017 & they attained a Scheduled Bank status in August 2017.

Details of the Job/Internship

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank is hiring a Legal Counsel (Litigation) with experience of 3 to 6 years to join their office in Kolkata.

Role and Responsibilities

• To provide end to end support for collection activity including interaction with authorised officers, borrowers, assistance in symbolic/physical possession, filing application before District Magistrate and oversee the same until auction/sale of the property.
• To support MSE & Housing teams with queries relating to scrutinising title deeds, create mortgages and assist the business teams in sanction of loans.
• To file the cases under various laws i.e. (Sec. 138 NI Act, Sec. 25 PASSA, Arbitration, etc.)
• To conduct Lok Adalats, Mediation / Conciliation camps,coordinate with Police.
• To appear, defend and follow up for cases for/ against company.

Salary/Stipend
