Details of the Job/Internship
CISC is hiring a Legal Counsel (Manager) to join its Mumbai office and support its expanding legal team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Negotiate EPC, O&M, and PPA contracts for renewable energy projects (wind/solar).
- Support project finance and development activities.
- Handle commercial contracts and lease agreements.
- Coordinate litigation and dispute matters with external counsel.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks and legal policies.
- Support JV management, shareholder agreements, and due diligence.
- Assist in regulatory, permitting, and real estate matters.
- Manage internal operations: NDAs, HR, admin issues, internal advisory.
- Interface with stakeholders across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Americas.
Eligibility
- LL.B. (preferably from a reputed law school); qualified to practice in India.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in infrastructure/project finance or renewable energy law.
- Prior experience in top-tier law firms or in-house legal teams.
- Exposure to renewable energy sector preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and contract negotiation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across international teams.
