Details of the Job/Internship

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is hiring a Legal Counsel – Office of Legal Obligations with 4+ years of experience to join their Mumbai office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of legal obligations for JPMorgan Chase’s Asia Pacific businesses.
• Monitor and summarize regulatory changes.
• Conduct legal research and assess impact on business.
• Develop expertise in JPMorgan products and services.
• Collaborate with technology teams to support legal infrastructure.
• Assist in drafting policies and ensuring compliance frameworks.

Eligibility

• Qualified lawyer with at least 4 years of legal experience.
• Experience in private practice, a law firm, or in-house legal department.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and with diverse stakeholders.
• Must meet all licensing and clearance requirements before starting employment.
