Details of the Job/Internship
Zelestra is hiring for the position of Legal Counsel (Project) with 5-6 years of experience to join their office in Haryana.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate:
- EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) contracts
- O&M (Operations & Maintenance), asset management, and development contracts
- Equipment supply agreements and construction execution contracts
- Advise internal teams across departments on legal and contractual matters.
- Support the Finance team in the execution of project finance agreements for renewable energy developments.
- Provide legal input on M&A transactions and daily operational matters.
- Maintain legal documentation and contract management systems (MIS).
Eligibility
- Law degree with at least 5–6 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within the renewable energy or EPC sector.
- Prior experience with hybrid renewable projects is highly desirable.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated autonomy, proactive mindset, and ability to manage complex legal negotiations.
- Exposure to legal functions within leading renewable energy developers or EPC companies is preferred.
