Infosys is hiring a Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel with experience in drafting and reviewing complex commercial IT contracts to join their office in Bengaluru East.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review complex commercial IT contracts governed by Dutch and other European laws, including IT outsourcing agreements, IT service agreements, alliance agreements, subcontracting agreements, and license agreements.
- Review proposals and requests for proposals (RFPs), assist in preparing proposals, and provide support in responding to RFPs.
- Participate in negotiations with customers and vendors across BeNeLux and continental Europe, ensuring compliance with internal contracting policies and risk mitigation requirements.
- Manage internal escalation and approval procedures.
- Analyze legal and commercial risk issues and present clear recommendations to business teams and senior management.
- Act as an interface between local offices and global headquarters.
- Create standard contract forms, translate and adapt them to local laws.
- Perform legal advisory functions and support corporate compliance.
- Track relevant laws and regulations affecting company operations.
- Share knowledge about local laws and business trends within the global legal department.
