Details of the Job/Internship

Infosys is hiring a Legal Counsel – IT Contracts to draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial IT agreements, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and European legal requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and review complex commercial IT contracts in English governed by Dutch and other European laws, including IT outsourcing agreements, service agreements, alliance agreements, subcontracting agreements, license agreements, and other contracts relevant to an IT service provider.
• Review proposals and RFPs, assist in preparing proposals, and support responses to RFPs.
• Participate in negotiations with customers and vendors across BeNeLux and continental Europe, ensuring alignment with internal contracting policies, risk mitigation requirements, and escalation procedures.
• Analyze legal and commercial risk issues and present clear recommendations to business teams and senior management, acting as a bridge between local offices and global headquarters.
• Create standard contract templates, translate contracts from English to local languages, and adapt documents to local laws.
• Provide legal advisory support and serve as the local interface to the global legal team on corporate compliance matters.
• Track laws and regulations relevant to the company’s business and policies.
• Share knowledge about local laws and business trends within the global Infosys legal community.
