Details of the Job/Internship

Infosys is hiring a Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel with 3–9 years of experience to join its Bengaluru East office. The role involves drafting and reviewing complex commercial IT contracts governed by Dutch and other European laws, managing negotiations, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and risk mitigation requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and review complex commercial IT contracts, including outsourcing, service, subcontracting, and license agreements.
• Review and assist in preparing proposals and responses to RFPs.
• Participate in negotiations with customers and vendors across BeNeLux and continental Europe.
• Ensure compliance with internal contracting policies and risk mitigation procedures.
• Analyze legal and commercial risks and present recommendations to business teams and senior management.
• Create and adapt standard contract forms, including translations and localization.
• Perform legal advisory functions and ensure compliance with corporate regulations.
• Track and interpret relevant laws and regulations affecting company operations.
• Share insights on local laws and business trends within the Infosys global legal team.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree with relevant legal experience.
• 3–9 years of post-qualification experience in commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Strong understanding of IT outsourcing, service, and subcontracting agreements.
• Experience with contracts governed by European laws preferred.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Salary/Stipend
