Infosys is hiring a Legal Counsel with 4–8 years of experience for roles in Mumbai or Bangalore. The role involves protecting the company’s legal interests, ensuring compliance, drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, participating in negotiations, and providing legal advisory on corporate matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Protect the company’s legal interests and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Analyze legal issues and commercial risks, and present clear recommendations.
- Draft commercial agreements including Master Service Agreements, Alliance Agreements, License Agreements, and other relevant contracts.
- Review proposals, assist in preparing proposals, and respond to tenders and RFPs.
- Participate in negotiations with customers and vendors while ensuring risk mitigation and internal compliance.
- Provide legal advisory functions related to general corporate compliance.
- Track laws and regulations relevant to the company’s business and policies.
- Provide legal advice to all levels of executive staff.
Eligibility
- BA LL.B. or Master’s in Law from a reputed law school.
- 4–8 years of post-qualification experience.
- Basic knowledge of contracts, IP, corporate compliance, and IT industry legal practices.
- Strong legal research and analysis skills.
- Awareness of market trends, financial policies, and macroeconomic factors affecting the business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with strong organizational, analytical, and time management abilities.
