Details of the Job/Internship

Infosys is hiring a Legal Counsel (UK Contracts Team) with 7–10 years of experience to join its legal team in Mumbai or Bangalore. The role involves protecting the company’s legal interests, analysing legal and commercial risks, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, supporting proposals and tenders, and providing legal advisory services on corporate compliance and regulatory matters relevant to the business.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assisting in protecting the company’s legal interests and ensuring legal compliance.
• Analysing legal and commercial risks and providing clear recommendations.
• Drafting commercial agreements, including Master Service Agreements, Alliance Agreements, and Licence Agreements.
• Reviewing and assisting in the preparation of proposals, tenders, and RFP responses.
• Participating in negotiations with customers and vendors in line with internal contracting and risk mitigation requirements.
• Providing legal advisory support on general corporate compliance matters.
• Tracking applicable laws and regulations and advising executive stakeholders accordingly.

Eligibility

• BA LLB or Master’s degree in Law from a reputed law school.
• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Basic knowledge of key legal principles across practice areas, including contracts and intellectual property.
• Knowledge of legal research methodology and legal analysis.
• Exposure to the legal aspects of the IT industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills.

Salary/Stipend
