Details of the Job/Internship

Unilever is hiring a Legal Counsel – Supply Chain with 10+ years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice to partner functions across supply chain, HR, sustainability, R&D, and SHE.
• Handle litigations related to labour, employment, and environmental matters.
• Support sustainability initiatives and compliance with PWMR/other applicable laws.
• Partner with HR in drafting and implementing policies, including those related to rewards and social security.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with third parties.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to manufacturing setups and expansions.
• Lead the implementation of compliance tools and frameworks for supply chain.
• Liaise with regulatory and statutory authorities as required.

Eligibility

• Minimum of 10+ years of legal experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing setup.
• Strong expertise in legal advisory, compliance, and business partnering.
• Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills under tight timelines.
• Ability to manage risks, provide pragmatic solutions, and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Law degree with a proven track record in corporate and commercial law.
