Details of the Job/Internship
ENGIE Middle East is hiring a Legal Counsel for its Pune office. The ideal candidate will hold a law degree from a reputable Indian university and possess 5+ years of legal practice experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate project, EPC, and partnership agreements.
- Support legal aspects of project financing and security creation.
- Advise on contract management, compliance, and local laws.
- Handle company setup, governance docs, and operational contracts.
- Monitor legal risks, manage external counsel, and promote compliance culture.
Eligibility
- Education: Law degree from a reputable Indian law university (LL.B or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of legal practice.
- Preferred: Large law firm or infrastructure corporate experience.
- Strong exposure to infrastructure, energy projects, or EPC contracts.
- Language: Fluent written and spoken English.
