Details of the Job/Internship
Quince is seeking a Legal Counsel to serve as the key legal advisor for its India operations with 10 years of experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary legal advisor for India operations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts.
- Advise stakeholders on product development, risk, and policy matters.
- Monitor and interpret changes in regulatory and legal frameworks.
- Lead compliance initiatives, filings, and policy implementations.
- Build and manage internal legal processes and documentation systems.
- Provide support in resolving commercial disputes and pre-litigation matters.
- Collaborate with HR and talent teams on legal aspects of employment and recruitment.
Eligibility
- Master’s degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience.
- Strong law firm or in-house experience with a commercial focus.
- Exceptional communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with compliance management and transaction oversight.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under ambiguity.
- Prior experience in supporting HR and regulatory compliance preferred.
