Details of the Job/Internship
Snapmint is hiring a Legal Counsel with 5–8 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including service agreements, partnerships, and financing arrangements.
- Advise on RBI NBFC regulations, data privacy laws, and fintech-related compliance.
- Support internal teams on product legality and business initiatives.
- Oversee legal risk in lending, collections, marketing, and data handling.
- Manage regulatory filings, audits, and authority communications.
- Coordinate with external counsel on litigation and structuring.
- Conduct internal training on legal and compliance topics.
- Track and report legal and regulatory changes.
- Contribute to policy creation and governance processes.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or LL.M. from a reputed Indian university.
- 5–8 years of post-qualification experience in fintech, NBFCs, or financial services.
- Strong regulatory, contract, and compliance knowledge.
- Experience working with law firms or in-house teams.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and advisory skills.
