Details of the Job/Internship
YourTribe is hiring a Legal Counsel with 5+ years of experience in TMT, Fintech, or General Corporate law to join their team in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Month 1: Gain deep understanding of the business model, products, and legal landscape
- Months 1–3: Independently handle document drafting, review, vetting, and negotiation with top clients across sectors
- From Month 4: Contribute to improving legal processes and operational efficiency
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements
- Provide legal advisory across multiple domains including compliance, labor laws, product strategy
- Manage data protection and intellectual property matters
- Support cross-functional teams with strategic legal guidance
Eligibility
- Minimum 5 years of experience in TMT, Fintech, or General Corporate Law
- BA/BBA/BSc LLB (LLM or other advanced degrees preferred)
- Certifications or courses in corporate law, fintech, data protection, etc., are advantageous
- Strong interest in technology and a versatile legal approach
- Experience with data protection frameworks (e.g., GDPR, DPDP, CCPA) preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
