Details of the Job/Internship
ADNOC Group is hiring a Legal Counsel with 7 years of experience to join their office in Abu Dhabi. The role involves providing legal advice, drafting legal documentation, managing disputes, and supporting management in decision-making while ensuring compliance with applicable legislation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to management and all divisions/departments, preparing memos with recommendations.
- Draft and review national and international agreements, contracts, and legal documents under supervision of the Associate General Counsel.
- Manage disputes, legal cases, lawsuits, and external counsel.
- Draft legal opinions on legislation relevant to the company.
- Represent the company in courts, arbitrations, and other legal forums.
- Perform legal research to stay updated on applicable legislation.
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate activities in the assigned area.
- Train and develop assigned staff to enhance job proficiency.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Qualified Lawyer.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as in-house counsel or in a law firm.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
- Strong writing, communication, and independent working skills.
