Details of the Job/Internship

AGCO Corporation is hiring a Legal Counsel to join their office in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage corporate governance for legal entities in India, including board minutes, resolutions, and AOA amendments.
• Act as a key team member in the foundational setup of AGCO India operations.
• Draft and revise contract templates and establish contract approval processes.
• Review key business contracts with a specific focus on legal risks and critical terms.
• Provide legal advice to various business functions and manage external counsel for litigation.
• Conduct compliance training for employees and update policies regarding Anti-Bribery and the Code of Conduct.
• Oversee the legal budget and ensure the harmonious integration of legal procedures across departments.

• Demonstrated integrity and discretion when handling highly confidential information.
• Flexibility to work across all legal disciplines and a readiness to respond to procedural instructions.
