Airtel Payments Bank is hiring for the position of Legal Counsel with 7-8 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Independently review, draft, and negotiate medium to high complexity contracts across various domains.
- Monitor and analyze updates in relevant laws and regulations; conduct impact assessments and integrate necessary changes into contractual documents.
- Ensure all legal drafts reflect compliance with applicable rules and regulatory frameworks.
- Lead contract negotiations with external partners to secure favorable and legally sound terms.
- Assist in the standardization of legal templates and documentation to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate the closure of agreements in a timely manner.
- Maintain and regularly update the contract management system/tool.
- Provide day-to-day legal advisory services to internal business teams and support their operational requirements.
Eligibility
Educational Background:
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), preferably through a 5-year integrated law program.
Experience:
- 7–8 years of professional experience, ideally from a reputed law firm or a corporate legal department with a focus on contract law.
