Details of the Job/Internship

AliExpress is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 6 years to join their office in Riyadh.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support AliExpress' legal affairs in the Middle East market, conducting legal assessment of business plans and providing compliance and risk control suggestions;
• Conduct marketing, content security, product, data, payment and labor compliance work in the Middle East;
• Draft, review and revise all documents and agreements related to AliExpress Middle East business, including, without limitation, marketing agreement, cooperation agreement and payment agreement;
• Handle various litigations, regulatory incidents (complaints, reports, supervision, assistance in investigations), customer complaints and public relations crises;
• Conduct relevant legal research about the Middle East market, monitoring the regulation development and formulating compliance strategies suitable for business development;
• Assistance with corporate governance and other legal issues in the Middle East.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in law, and have obtained legal qualification in Saudi Arabia or the United Arabia Emirates;
• Have more than 6 years of relevant experience as a lawyer or legal counsel, with experience in the Internet or e-commerce industry is preferred;
• English can be used as a working language, and Chinese or Arabic is a plus;
• Have the ability to independently complete projects and do legal research and analysis;
• Strong execution and communication skills, proactive and careful in work.

Salary/Stipend
