Details of the Job/Internship
AMINA India is hiring a Legal Counsel with at least 5 years' experience to support its Mumbai office and global legal team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal and regulatory advice on digital asset products, trading, and banking services.
- Draft, structure, and negotiate agreements in both traditional and crypto environments.
- Lead legal workstreams for regulatory and corporate initiatives.
- Monitor legal developments across multiple jurisdictions and implement change projects.
- Advise stakeholders on risk, compliance, audit, and litigation.
- Coordinate with compliance teams on local and cross-border legal matters.
- Support senior management with legal assessments and internal trainings.
- Develop directives, terms, conditions, and support regulator communications.
Eligibility
- Master of Law from an accredited university, Indian Bar admission, and ideally an LL.M.
- At least 5 years relevant experience in banking law, financial regulation, or crypto.
- Knowledge of Swiss/European and Indian legal frameworks.
- Experience with investment products, regulatory compliance, and cross-jurisdictional legal work.
- Strong English communication skills; additional languages an advantage.
